What is a CIBIL score and why does it matter?
A CIBIL score (300–900) is a numerical representation of your creditworthiness, calculated by TransUnion CIBIL based on your loan and credit card repayment history. A score above 750 is considered excellent and qualifies you for the lowest interest rates. Lenders use it as the first screening criterion for any loan application.
