How does the Repo Rate change affect my Home Loan EMI?

Home loans linked to the EBLR (External Benchmark Lending Rate — typically the repo rate) change directly when the RBI changes the repo rate. A 25 basis point repo rate hike of 25 bps typically increases EMI by ₹15–20 per lakh of outstanding loan, depending on remaining tenure.
